What’s up, guys? My name is Chloe with Galaxy Golf Cars, and today I’m going to be giving you a full walkthrough of this bad boy behind me, the allnew Dodge Apollo Gen 2, so that way you can make the most informed decision before you decide to purchase. Now, before we go into the performance and kind of the bells and whistles features of the Dachoplo Gen 2, I do want to let you know that this thing comes fully street legal off the lot. That means it’s already equipped with safety features like headlights and brake lights, tail lights, turn signals, blinkers, and a horn. This thing also constitutes as an LSV or low-speed vehicle. So, it does tap out at 25 mph. Now, like I said, it is street legal. So, any roads in Texas that are 35 mph or under, you are permitted to drive the dot on. Now, in order to comply with the laws, you do need to get a little golf cart license plate that just goes on the back of this bad boy. You go to the tax assessor collector’s office. Plate fees are typically around $10 to $20, and they never actually expire. Now, as we’re starting at the front of the Dodge Apollo Gen 2 line, you can see there is a very sturdy brush guard attached to the front. And then you also have your very powerful LED headlights. Now, taking a look at the wheels and the tires, you do have a knobby, kind of aggressive looking tire. And then, of course, you do have these snazzy black rims to match. Now, as we make our way to the side of the vehicle, this thing is lifted, so it is nice that this thing does come standard with these awesome stepup bars on the side. You can also start to see the premium LED lighting package start to kind of shine through, both at the base and in the canopy of the Dodge. Now coming to the back of the Dodge Apollo Gen 2. It is super nice because it does have a trunk. So you can put whatever you want back here, but there’s also a little drain. So if you want to, you can put some ice back here, throw some beers, sodas, anything like that. But if you look inside, there also are removable screws. So you can actually remove this entire back compartment and then put your golf bag back here for the course. Now, before we get any further, let’s go ahead and jump to the inside of the Dodge Apollo line, so that way I can show you all the creature comforts that this bad boy comes with. Now, like I mentioned at the start of the video, this bad boy does come street legal. So, of course, what that means is you’ve got your awesome handy dandy seat belts right here. Now, taking a look at the driver’s side, you do have a very nice automobile style steering wheel. Very comfortable to hold in the hands. And you also do have um volume controls, so you can turn it up, turn it down, and you can also change and go back in your song playlist. And if you press down right in the middle, there’s your horn. The Dodge Apollo Gen 2 is also one of the only golf carts on the market that actually has cruise control. And that cruise control is also controllable by that automobile style steering wheel. Now, this thing does come with self-cancelling turn signals, which is incredibly convenient when you’re out cruising. And on your turn signal right here, you are going to find the controls for your headlights. Now, getting into everyone’s favorite features on the Dodge Apollo Gen 2 line. It is going to come with all of those bells and whistles, features, and functions that are going to be on par with pretty much everything else on the market. So, if we look a little bit closer here, you can see that we have our start stop button. This is push to start. Instead of coming with a key fob, the Dodge Apollo Gen 2 comes with two key cards. And in order to power the golf cart on and off, you just drag the key card in front of the NFC tag right here. So, there I just powered the golf cart off. If I put it in front, golf cart does power on. You can put that NFC key card right smack dab in the wallet. So, I don’t know about you, I don’t need key fobs anymore when I have a key card. Then you can see that we have our little dial here for reverse, neutral, drive, and eco mode. And if we decide to move this dial into reverse, you can see the backup reverse camera pop up onto the LCD screen. This is also where our hazards button is housed. You are also going to have plenty of options to keep everyone powered up. So, you can see that we do have a little magnetic wireless phone charger. We also have a USBC and a normal USB port to keep everyone powered up. Now, everyone’s favorite part, that big screen that is housed on the Dodge Apollo Gen 2. This is going to come standard with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so that way you can stay connected. You can have your music and even have your navigation and take hands-free phone calls during your drive. Now, to the left of the Apple CarPlay screen, you are going to see a couple of other metrics. You do have your odometer, your battery percentage, and then you’re going to see how many miles per hour you’re actually reaching. Now, I did just mention the wireless Apple CarPlay, which is of course powered via Bluetooth. And when it comes to the speakers, you are going to have plenty of power and sound quality. Up in the canopy, you do have two lightup speakers. You also do have a soundbar at the back. And on the back two seats, you do also have two additional speakers. Now, the seats on the Dodge Apollo are incredibly plush and luxurious, and each passenger even comes with adjustable armrests and a little handle up at the canopy. Now, I did just talk about our back two seats. Let’s not forget about those passengers sitting back here. They of course are going to have that armrest like I talked about, but they also are going to have two cup holders and then a mesh little holder for a phone or keys or wallets or anything of that nature. And you’re also going to have a little grab handle as well. Now, when dealing with a golf cart, it is especially important to understand how it is powered. The Dodge Apollo Gen 2 is powered by a Dodge branded lithium battery. It is a 73.6V 105 amp hour battery. And on a full charge, you’re looking at about 50 to 55 miles of range. For a full charge, you’re looking at anywhere from around 4 to 6 hours. We always recommend charging overnight. In fact, when we deliver the golf cart, we give a full lithium battery protocol for how to properly care and maintain for your Dodge Apollo Gen 2. Now, to charge this bad boy, it is going to plug into a normal threeprong 110 outlet. So, you don’t need any fancy adapters or anything like that. Plugging it into an extension cord, and your garage will do just fine. Now, when looking at the warranty, Dodge does back its lithium batteries with a 5-year full replacement warranty. Now, that charging outlet that I was just mentioning to you is housed on the side of the golf cart right here. So, this is where you plug your Dach Apollo Gen 2 into the wall. But, this port is extremely special because the Dodge Apollo Gen 2 houses a very rare B2D charger. The Dodge Pilot Gen 2 features a rare external power output capability, allowing users to draw energy directly from the 72volt battery. Now, this built-in power supply makes it easy to run tools, power devices, or support other outdoor activities whenever needed, turning your vehicle into a reliable mobile energy source. So, let’s say you’re out having a tailgate and one of your big speakers dies, you can plug it directly into the 72volt battery. Better yet, if you and your buddy are out cruising and his golf cart happen to dies, you best believe you can power your buddy’s golf cart straight from the Dodge Apollo Gen 2. Now, as far as storage as concerned, there are four cup holders, two for the passenger and two for the driver’s side. And then you also do have your storage glove compartments that are on the front as well. Inside of that storage on the front dash of the Dach Apollo, you can see that you do also have three holders for golf balls. Now, the Dach Apollo does have some pretty gnarly color combinations. The one you see behind me is a beautiful matte gray exterior with that oh so perfect walnut brown leather interior. But like I mentioned, Dodge has tons of awesome, crazy color combinations that you wouldn’t normally see when you’re normally in the market for your golf cart search.
