Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I moved to the DFW area a few months ago. I was excited to live in a golf community and did my due diligence to find the right golf cart that would meet my needs. I had settled on two brands that I was certain I would buy one of the two. Now to find the dealer. This is a world of high volume quick fix shops that are looking to capitalize on importing vehicles and making as much money as possible in the shortest period of time. But in my cursory research, I quickly figured out that you may be left high and dry if you end up with a cart that the shop/manufacturer can’t even get parts for. It was a priority for me to purchase from a shop that would actually return my calls if I did ever have an issue.
I can’t actually remember how I ended up finding Galaxy, but the reviews seemed overwhelmingly positive, so I figured I’d give them a shot. I walked in and met with Candace who walked me through all the features of all the carts that Galaxy stocks. She was incredibly professional and helpful (and zero pressure). I walked in ‘knowing’ what I wanted, but she just asked questions to find out what I really wanted. About this time, Eric came over and we all started chatting. Eric emphasized that I just needed to drive each cart to really know… so we started the process. They were beyond patient as I went through the whole “well let me drive that one again” over the course of about an hour.
Each one had plusses and minuses. What REALLY impressed me is that Eric (the owner) was genuinely curious about what I liked (and more importantly, what I *didn’t* like) about each individual cart. It also became apparent to me that Eric would only stock carts that were reliable and that he could source parts for and maintain. At this point I realized that they were truly invested in me getting the best vehicle for my lifestyle. I’m a planner, and it’s hard for me to get my brain onboard for something I haven’t planned for. But both Eric and Candace walked me through the Sivo Edge and it became a no-brainer after a little bit of information and time.
So my wife and I decide to pull the trigger. The process could not have been smoother or easier. I had recently bought a truck at a local dealership (since I just moved to Texas, after all), and the process was a challenge to say the least. But purchasing this cart took a matter of minutes and my wife and I were sitting there is disbelief…”that’s it?”
I’m on the road quite a bit for work and had a tight time schedule for delivery before catching a flight. They gave me a ‘window’ for delivery, but they were there about 15 minutes prior to the delivery window. The owner Eric was there with Matt (great guy) and they both went through every single feature that the cart has to offer. They also made me drive it again to make sure that everything was in working order.
Even after the purchase and delivery process, Galaxy has been incredible. Anytime I have a question, it is IMMEDIATELY responded to by Eric. I was in sales in a previous life. That world is mostly occupied by people that want to get their fix ($$$) and get out. It is very rare to see a business owner that is truly trying to build a customer base. Eric and his team are doing the work. I would recommend this business to anyone.
