EPIC GOLF CARTS IN DFW: LUXURY MEETS INNOVATION

Hi, I’m Peter with Galaxy Golf Cars, and today we’re going to be talking about the Epic FX line of golf carts. We have the E60 FX here, but the E40 FX with four seats is going to have all the same features.

Every cart on the FX lineup is fully street legal — seat belts, turn signals, hazards, everything you need to take it on roads up to 35 mph. Always check your local municipality laws for any differences in your area.

Starting at the front, there’s a tough, sturdy push bar and glossy black wheels with silver accents — very classy looking on the road. To open the frunk, look right under the drive/reverse dial for a button marked with a trunk icon. It pops open and has a kickstand to keep it open while you load it. To close, just lift and push down.

The rear seats are fully street legal with seat belts. When passengers aren’t back there, the seats fold flat into a heavy-duty utility bed with tie-down loops in the corners. Lift the seat up and you’ll find a built-in removable cooler with handles and a drain on the bottom for easy transport. There’s also a license plate light so the cart is visible at night.

The E40 FX is a four-seater with all forward-facing seats — no rear-facing seats. It has a built-in removable cooler held in by four screws. Remove it and you can mount a golf bag attachment in its place, making it course-ready.

On the E60 FX six-seater, the front row area has a large amount of storage. On the E40 FX, the battery is located there, so storage differs slightly. Both models have large lockable glove compartments on both sides, each with an interior light for nighttime access.

Every seat has a cup holder. The two front-row passengers each get two cup holders. There’s also a built-in umbrella holder — perfect for rainy days so you’re not getting your shoes wet getting in.

The steering column is adjustable — just push down the knob and set it to your preferred height.

To start the cart, press the power button. As long as the key fob is within range, it will start right up. The key fob looks just like a car key — you can keep it on your keychain. To switch gears, turn the dial to Drive, Neutral, or Reverse. In Reverse, the backup camera activates automatically. There’s also a Sport Mode (S on the dial) which gives you quicker acceleration — not a higher top speed, just more responsiveness.

The two buttons below the dial with lightbulb icons toggle the accent lighting on and off — the light bar on top and the bar on the side. To customize light colors, use the included remote or download the Ban Lan X app. From the app you can create custom light shows, choose exact colors, set frequencies, and fully personalize the lighting. To connect, tap the blue plus icon in the top right, press Add Device, and select your cart when it appears.

Both the E40 and E60 FX come fully equipped with wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto, plus marine-grade Bluetooth speakers throughout the cart. To connect to CarPlay, press the Bluetooth icon on the screen, find your cart’s Bluetooth name on your phone, tap it, and select CarPlay or Android Auto. In about 10 seconds you’ll have full access to Maps, Spotify, Apple Music, and your phone. Once connected via wireless CarPlay, your phone also wirelessly charges in the phone holder. There are also four wired charging ports — three USB-A and one USB-C — so everyone stays charged.

The battery is an Eco Battery, 51.2V / 105Ah, located just under the front storage tray on the E60 FX. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty and full replacement coverage up to 6 years. Charge time is approximately 4–6 hours depending on starting charge level, with a range of 25–30 miles per full charge. The charging port is on the driver’s side rear seat area — just lift the cover and plug into a standard 3-prong 110V wall outlet. No special charging equipment needed.

To recap: this is the E60 FX six-seater. The E40 FX has the same features with four forward-facing seats, minus the rear seats and utility bed.
